Wende Alexander Clark's style mixes classic portrait work with photojournalism. Candid, spontaneous shooting and traditional poses blend for a uniquely creative presentation of photography.
She has been in business since 1980 and serving the Grand Rapids area since 1989. She was an award winning staff photographer at The Grand Rapids Press for nearly a decade, and she still freelances for local and national newspapers, magazines and other publications.
Wende brings this photojournalism background to her wedding photography. Her artistry and professionalism have put her on the preferred vendor list of many premier area venues, including the Amway Grand Plaza, Frederick Meijer Gardens, Cascade Hills Country Club, Egypt Valley Country Club, Watermark Country Club, University Club, and others.
Wedding packages start at $2,000 and include all day coverage, with numerous locations, great flexibility on timing, and a minimum of 250 proofs to document the day. Wende releases the copyright of all images to her clients, and provides a printable CD of her work. Custom designed magazine style albums are available to order for an additional charge; please contact the studio for a full list of options and pricing.
Portrait packages start at $600. Wende specializes in on-location children's portraiture, and contracts for models, senior pictures, and commercial work as well. Please call or stop by her loft studio in historic downtown Rockford for an information packet.

A unique and creative alternative to traditional wedding stationery, thank you notes, Christmas cards and birth announcements, as well as baptism, anniversary and graduation announcements. We produce a selection of black and white images on fine art watercolor paper with custom verbiage inside and out.
